My goal is to keep therapy accessible to my clients.
Self-pay
$120 for 60-minute intake session
$100 for 60-minute follow-up session
$75 for 45-minute follow-up session
I accept credit or debit card, check, cash, Venmo, Zelle, and FSA/HSA cards. You will need to put a credit or debit card on file, but can elect to use another form of payment for sessions.
Clients who have in-network insurance can elect to self-pay for sessions. You may wish to do so for several reasons - to use HSA/FSA for sessions, to protect your information from being submitted to your insurance company, or because you would prefer not to have an official diagnosis on your record. If you have insurance and choose to self-pay for sessions, you will have to sign a form acknowledging that you are choosing to opt out of using your insurance benefits for sessions.
Insurance
In order to keep therapy accessible to clients, I accept or plan to accept most major commercial and marketplace insurance plans. If I am in-network with your plan, you will be responsible for your copay or coinsurance, and I will submit a claim directly to your insurance after each session. Prior to our first session, I will call your insurance to verify your benefits, ensure sessions are covered, and confirm your financial responsibility for sessions - typically either a copay, which is a flat fee per session, or coinsurance, which is a specific percentage of the cost of session. Please note that some high-deductible plans may require you to meet your deductible before any percentage of the session cost is covered. In this case, you will be responsible for the full cost of the negotiated insurance rate (which varies by insurance company, typically somewhere between $80-$120) until your deductible is met.
I am currently in-network with:
Cigna and Evernorth
Optum - UHC, UBH & UMR
UHC Medicare Advantage
VA Community Care Network (VA CCN)
NC Dual Specialty Plan
Medicare
I will be in-network with the following as soon as my application is accepted:
Aetna -estimated June 2026
BCBS -estimated September 2026
Humana
Molina
Clients with out-of-network benefits can submit superbills to their insurance company for reimbursement. If you are unsure if your plan has out-of-network benefits, please feel free to reach out and I will help you identify your plan’s benefits.
